Ottawa Beach Inn was established in 1972 as a family-owned and family-friendly restaurant known for its casual atmosphere, generous portions, and beachside location. Lakeshore residents and guests have gathered at Ottawa Beach Inn year after year, reviving the neighborhood bistro and building OBI into a Holland mainstay. October 15 - Italian Fall Flavors
Time-honored Italian dishes starting with traditional bruschetta topped with a mushrooms, liver, sundried tomatoes, or olive tapenade. Other dishes include Porchetta (rolled pork roast), a layered vegetable lasagna, classic Caesar salad with handcrafted dressing and Tiramisu.
November 12 - Beyond Turkey
Move beyond turkey with cornbread-stuffed Cornish game hens, a side of roasted chestnuts with fennels and pears, butternut squash and sage lasagna, and creamy pumpkin cheddar scalloped potatoes. Pair it with a cranberry berry mimosa.
December 3 - Holiday Appetizers and Desserts
Enjoy an arsenal of easy, but decadent appetizers and desserts! Try a layered Italian torta, a maple bacon pineapple tree, French onion cheese dip, a mocha yule log, and a raspberry red bakewell tart.
January 14 - Cooking Light
Think light and healthy after the holidays with layered, gluten-free vegetable lasagna, Kimchi nachos, sheet pan-baked chicken with roasted carrots, brussel sprouts and red onions, and spiraled zucchini pasta with pesto.
February 11 - Out of India
Indian food is one of the most flavorful comfort foods. Learn traditional dishes like Papadums with mango chutney, Vada Pav (veggie burgers), pan-fried banana cakes, coconut chicken curry, quick Lamb Tikka Maslal, and Aloo Gobi.
March 11 - Soups, Stews, and Brews III
Warm up with all new soups and stew recipes. Learn chicken gnocchi soup, beef tagine with butternut squash, cream of wild mushroom, and Indian lamb stew with lentils.
Classes are limited to 20 and recommended for adults only. Sit back, relax, and watch Sue educate and prepare while you sip on a glass of wine, a beer, or a cocktail. Come hungry! Hearty samples will be available. Leave with a packet of recipes you can try at home.
